Job Summary

As the SME Loan Officer, you will be responsible for identifying and onboarding qualified SME clients, processing loan applications, and managing customer relationships to support the organization’s lending operations and portfolio growth.

Responsibilities

• Identify and onboard prospective SME clients for loan products and financial services

• Assess loan applications and conduct credit evaluations in line with company policies

• Monitor loan repayments and follow up on overdue accounts to minimize risk exposure

• Prepare reports and maintain accurate records of loan activities and client interactions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or related field

• Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in SME lending, credit administration, or microfinance operations

• Strong knowledge of credit analysis, loan processing, and risk assessment

• Ability to meet loan targets and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
